1-2-17 Flooded…Why we are not using the back nine yet.

Mid December we took a snow followed by rain, it was an early season flooding by my standards.  But what it left us is a mess that rivals many of the early spring floods.  We not only have silt but stream, field, and tree debris.

Since we don’t have crew this time of the year it will take a while for Noah to scrape the cart path to clear the silt and trees.  If the temperature drops below freezing we can’t scrape the frozen mud anyway.  So be patient, we will get there.  When we do get crew back, traditionally it takes 5 guys 6 weeks full time to clean up the mess.

  2. If anyone in Ohio is golfing anywhere they should be paying no less than $100 per round. Think about the air fare to Florida, condo fee, greens fees, and ya’ll Buckeye fans may want a meal or two and a few beverages after that Whoopin’ Mark is one of the top Agricultural Scientists in the country. Westchester is blessed to have him. I’d come help you sir but my skid steer loader is missing some air in the tire!
