We had a full course tournament yesterday. So we scheduled to do repair work on the range. The work consisted of filling divots on the tee, aerification, seeding. The main range had aerfication and slit seeding where the flooding had done damage or deposited silt in piles. We were running as fast as possible to try to beat the rain from Harvey that was heading our way.
We went out in two teams. First team was responsible for filling the tee divots with sand, smoothing them with the pull behind level lawn,
then the drag mat to knock excess sand into the canopy.
While the guys are putting down the sand, on the south end Jim & Mike are working to prep & seed the damaged part of the range.
With the tee ready for holes and seed Mike & Jim move to the tee.
Jim follows up with the seeder to drop seed and pack depressions to hold the seed & water in place.
Here is Jim with a pass on the seeder on the tee (video).
