Storm Last night we lost a tree that was blown down by high winds that blew the chairs off the porch at the same time. There is debris in various locations around the course that we will keep cleaning up each day. It may take a couple of weeks.
This adds to the debris still remaining from winter/spring flooding that Noah and myself were hauling into debris piles yesterday. We have the rental skid steer until Wednesday.
Weed Control in the cut grass is completed including crabgrass control. The front nine natural is done and I have 14-16 to finish plus between 10 & 18 when we get the natural cut down. Once done, I will be heading out to hit the weeds that were not up when I last sprayed.
Friday I sprayed the stream on #13, behind 11, tree line on the range and the hillside between 10/18/range. So this week everything should start turning brown. I have been waiting for about 4 years to put out the product. We only get the weather about two days per year where I can go spray with zero wind and high temperatures. Friday was finally my chance for 13 stream!
Employees Have two new employees starting in the next week with two started last week. We still need two more to fill out the seasonal staff.
Bunkers The guys finished the sod around #13 green side bunker last week. A sand cleanup from winter flooding and a week for the sod and we should be ready to open it up for play.
Natural mowing We have been working on it for a couple of weeks. Sam cuts Natural on Monday & Tuesday. The rest of the week he is mowing cut rough and the range. We will get there but is slow going. Mike fills in with the natural a few hours during the week where he is not cutting fairways or cut rough.
