12-21-18 Ready for Christmas?

Today I finished painting the In/Out posts. Also known as the pink & white posts. For those not “in the know” we use these to indicate where we would like cart traffic to enter the fairway after the tees and exit before the greens. These are to limit the straight line wear in the same location causing dead grass.

In/Out posts ready for storage.

Other painting completed are the fairway yardage posts and the tee markers (Orange & Black) that are not on the course right now.

Fairway yardage posts with green completed.
White and Blue yardage posts ready for final coat and touch-up.

We will take a couple of days off for Christmas and then back to painting yardage signs for the driving range, A-frame signs for the range tee and then spruce up the trash can boxes.

Between that I become an office dweller working on print book updates and making new irrigation books.

Old drainage prints from 2017, Irrigation is from 2015.

Have a safe and Happy Holiday Season. I’ll be back in a few days.

  1. Too bad most all the golfers(?) I see here on the sixth hole don’t know what those pink & white posts mean. Especially when they nearly drive on the green. No “handicap flags” on carts. Really a long walk to the green from the cart path
