1-25-19 STOP signs

Stop six times. The stop signs have been out for 5 years and are due to be repainted this year. The original stop signs from 1997 were sand blasted wood. About every other year we had to repaint them. In 2014 it was their last year, the weather finally took its toll and 3 of 4 were degraded beyond repair.

When pricing new signs I found that the individual cost was extreme for the specific size we needed. At that time I decided to make a mold of the final good one so I could make them out of concrete. That is what needs repainted now.

The simple process, Wire brush all loose paint off, clear coat prime the base, paint the Italian flag colors Red, White , Green. When warm enough to get outside replace the signs.

Working on the last two and they will be done by Tuesday.

Finished, ready to be installed.

  1. You do nice work. Those signs look like they’ll last a while.
